Rainbow Falls-Mt. LeConte-Bull Head Trail Loop Hike : Rainbow Falls trail is a popular route for hiking to the Mt. LeConte Lodge.  Bull Head trail, while less popular, also goes to/from the Mt. LeConte Lodge and is close enough to the Rainbow Falls parking area to not require a two car shuttle. AT Section: Davenport Gap to Chestnut Top Trail : The eastern-most segment of the AT in the Smokies runs from Davenport Gap at NC Hwy 284 to Chestnut Branch trail in the Smokies, about 1.9 miles from Davenport Gap.
