When July heat & humidity descend on our coves and valleys then I go to the mountain peaks for hikes. These photos are excerpted from those taken during two days of hiking in mid-July. Hiked were Newton Bald, Thomas Divide, Kanati Fork, Deep Creek, Pole Road Creek and Noland Divide trails.
