Fantasy of Trees - 2007 : Each year my best friend Janice Henderson donates time and materials to provide a decorated Christmas tree and sometimes, as in 2007, a room or hearth scene with a 2nd decorated tree. The decorated trees and scenes are sold to the public to benefit Children's Hospital in Knoxville, TN. Jan's decorated trees often sell for $500 - $1,000 and room scenes for that much or more. I'm happy to say that for 2006 and 2007 I assisted Jan with the decorating job. However, Janice alone gets all the credit for a full year's worth of searching for all of the unique ornaments and decorations--many of them are one-of-a-kind handmade items and many others are hard-to-find collectibles.
