Orchids of the Smokies : Native orchids are among our favorite flowers to find and photograph. Unfortunately many of these lovely flowers are threatened by theft for sale to nurseries. Please, don't buy native orchids from nurseries. Because most of these species are nearly impossible to grow from seed, if you find them for sale then almost always they have been stolen from parks or public forests. We know you can do like us and enjoy them in their natural habitat. Click this link to visit my webpage for orchids: http://home.earthlink.net/~tnhiker/lifeafter50onemansperspective/id25.html
